This episode of Garrison Keillor’s A Prairie Home Companion, recorded live from the Civic Center Auditorium in Bangor, Maine, featured Pulitzer Prize winning poet Maxine Kumin, the David Mallett Trio, and the regular AHPC cast: The Guy’s All-Star Shoe Band, Tim Russell, Sue Scott, Fred Newman, and that gangly guy with the socks.
David performs his classic Garden Song, Angel Standin’ By, and Fishing, his favorite piece of Henry David Thoreau’s The Maine Woods from his latest CD, The Fable True. To hear the archived audio from the show, click here.
